Texturizer is a basic and robust texture generator written by Seumas McNally (1979-2000), founder and lead programmer of Longbow Digital Arts. Although it was never officially released to the public, a limited beta version was handed out to a few members of the company’s early web forums. While Texturizer used to be Longbow’s primary tool for the creation of seamless textures in their games, the initial beta version lacks the ability of seamlessness, given but an option to blend or mirror the edges.
With my youth-born fascination for the graphics seen in DX-Ball 2 and Rival Ball, it has brought me great satisfaction to have been granted the opportunity to experience and experiment with this texture generator for my personal enjoyment. I hereby present my gallery of images rendered directly from Texturizer (converted from BMP to PNG for convenience).
